Leasing Consultants - Specialists are professionals who help landlords and property managers find qualified tenants to lease their properties.

Leasing Specialist Job Requirements:

• Effective Communication Skills 
• Good Follow up Skills
• Handling Inbound Inquiry Calls 
• Basic Excel Knowledge 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization or public
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and the Yardi/RENTCafe Platform is a plus.
• Social Media experience is imperative
• Being able to manage many tasks.
• Possessing strong sales skills.
• Having excellent organizational abilities.
• Being enthusiastic about learning.
• Answering calls from interested parties and answering queries from residents.
• Verifying applications of potential residents.
• Giving a tour of a rental property to interested tenants.
• Getting in touch with prospective tenants regarding their applications. A specialist calls a tenant when their application has been approved and guides them with whatever else is needed from them.
• Keeping vacancy information up to date.
